YFPA Work Day at Cliveden

Saturday May 18

9:30 AM  –  4:30 PM

Join the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance on Saturday, May 18, for an outdoor service day at Cliveden in Germantown.

Under the direction of Wesley Noonan-Sessa (Owner of 18th Century Restoration and former YFPA Steering Committee member) and Libbie Hawes (Preservation Director at Cliveden and former YFPA Steering Committee member), participants will help repair and paint an outbuilding on the historic property.

No experience or tools are necessary, just enthusiasm! This promises to be a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn about Cliveden and help with the upkeep of a truly historic Philadelphia property. Coffee and light snacks will be provided as well as lunch.

The event is free, but we ask participants to please register beforehand for planning purposes. Day-of contact information and other logistical details will be emailed to registrants shortly before the event. All participants must sign waiver forms, which will be provided on-site.

As this is an outdoor event, we are planning a backup rain date for Sunday, May 19, in case of inclement weather.
