Preserving African American Places: Growing Preservation’s Potential as a Path for Equity

Last October, the National Trust for Historic Preservation released its report “Preserving African American Places: Growing Preservation’s Potential as a Path for Equity,” as an initiative of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. On Wednesday, January 27th at Noon, join representatives of the National Trust for a virtual presentation and discussion of the report’s findings and conclusions. The program will explore the report’s ideas, research, observations, and questions on the critically important issues of equitable development, social justice, and the practice of preservation in America today.

A Zoom link will be emailed the morning of the event.

This is a free event but registration is required. This presentation will be recorded and a replay will be available soon after.
