**Special Tour** BOK

Built in 1936 and shuttered in 2013, the Edward W. Bok Technical High School was formerly a place of training, learning, and making for nearly 80 years. Students could study a range of subjects such as auto mechanics, wallpapering, home economics, cosmetology, and much more! The building sat vacant for 2 years before it was acquired by its new owner who envisioned creating a community oriented, affordable workspace for a variety of users.

Tour the historic Bok Vocational School in South Philadelphia with Lindsey Scannapieco, founder of Scout, and learn about the thoughtful transformation of the space into a community of artists, makers, entrepreneurs and nonprofits. This tour will include visits to a few tenant spaces and background on the renovation process of this historic structure.

Lindsey Scannapieco is the founder of Scout, the design and development practice behind the transformation of the Bok Building.

This tour will run around 90 minutes

Meet at 821 Dudley Street (located at the 'rear' of the building) between 8th and 9th on Dudley Street
